We Sell & Install Diesel Exhaust Fluid Systems (DEF) That Are Non-toxic, Non-flammable, & Helps Reduce NOx Emissions

To reduce pollutants, today's diesel engines use a technology called selective catalytic reduction (SCR). One of the main elements in SCR is diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). When DEF is injected into the SCR system the aqueous urea vaporizes and decomposes to form ammonia and carbon dioxide.  The nitrogen oxides are then reduced by the ammonia into water and nitrogen, which are exhausted  harmlessly out the tail pipe.

Since DEF (urea) is corrosive to many metals the handling and dispensing of the this fluid should be done with care. The need to properly store and dispense the fluid has increased dramatically. Fairfield Maintenance can design, furnish and install diesel exhaust fluid dispensing systems for your facility.
